I love a good weekend sale as much as the next person – but more often than not people tend to purchase trending or in-season fashion during big sales. Memorial Day weekend sales are coming up and it’s the perfect time to stock up on fall/winter wear.

What fall/winter wear should you get? Sweaters, blouses, boots, and jackets/coats tend to be the priciest so you can get some pretty awesome deals on those pieces during Memorial Day sales.

The half yearly sale starts today and you can get an additional 40% off clearance items

The glitter boot trend will stay strong come fall. I love this pair because they’re not TOO glittery and a great heel height. The best part about them is you could pair them with a denim mini skirt for summer.

Marc Jacobs Glitter Bootie – $237.00 [originally $395]

You’ll be seeing a lot of nylon outerwear this fall and I’m particularly excited about it because it’s a functional fabric – ick to wet weather, but at least you’ll look good.

Vince Camuto Nylon Coat – $99.00 [originally $218]

Classic shirts with a twist are all the rage right now and will work their way right into fall. The sleeves on this top are too good.

Banana Republic Shirt – $62.00 [take an additional 40% off that!]

Other fall trends you could keep an eye out for are:

  • Western inspired pieces
  • Chocolate brown colored items
  • Bold, retro florals
  • Statement faux fur
  • Retro plaid

  1. That long sleeve blouse from Bananna Republic is AMAZING! I am wanting to add pieces in to my closet that have drama to them and this definitely accomplishes that! I also hate buying pieces at full price so bring on the sales!
