I can’t believe how warm it is still. I’m not going to lie, I’m definitely going to soak it up before it drops into the 60s next week. With 60 degree weather comes the need for warm shoes [i.e. booties]. We all know the trends this season are metallics, funky velvet floral/baroque prints and kitten heels. Well, I like to dress to the beat of my own drum and I am personally swooning over the color olive right now – it’s like the new black. While everyone was in a tizzy about the Nordstrom anniversary sale I was able to score these olive green booties from Lord & Taylor for only $53! These Marc Fisher booties were all the rage last season and for some reason I’m just now starting to really be into them. I love the minimalist/western/casual chic vibe of the shoe. I styled the booties with a wrap dress, linen jacket and snake print belt.

What bootie style are you most excited to wear this season?

  1. I love your outfit!
I have not picked a fall bootie yet, but last year a very affordable pair from Amazon was my ride or die (from the brand Breckelles.)
ALso, maybe it’s just me but I am a little confused by the kitten heel trend- I feel like I learned to hate them and now I can’t warm up to them anymore.
